Despite being described as 'luxury' on their website, this hotel is anything but. The room was functional but extremely dated. The bathroom door didn't stay closed, the toilet did not fully flush no matter how long you held the button down for, the TV struggled to turn on and when it did, the audio and picture did no sync up. While this hotel has housekeeping, our room was not properly cleaned when they came. In terms of service, it was non-existent. The staff member conducting check-in process made no effort to provide us with any details of the hotel such us information on the pool, where breakfast was or what we did with parking. She at least told us our room number which we later found out isn't guaranteed after running into a couple in the elevator who was sent away without being told where to find it. Breakfast was fine but not worth the money. The fresh made omelettes was a highlight but that was about all. The pastries were stale and the fruit was rubbery. For my next trip to Adelaide, I will stay elsewhere.

I have stayed at the Stamford Plaza on several occasions for the ANZAC Dawn Service and March. It is very convenient for this event. Our room was clean, tidy and fairly quiet. Only a couple of small things - the bathroom fan was on all the time instead of being on only when it was switched on and the standard lamp didn't work at all. All the staff we came in contact with were very helpful. As hubby uses a walking frame, Linc, the concierge was extremely helpful, even parking our car in the laneway, as we weren't going to be using it for 2 days. He assisted in getting our luggage to and from our room and retrieved our car when we were ready to leave. We had also hired 2 mobility scooters which were stored in the concierge area for us to use as needed. At all times we found Linc to be very helpful and a charming gentleman at all times. Thanks Stamford Plaza for another great stay. I'll be back again in 2025 for the ANZAC day events. Linc I hope you will still be there too!

We stayed in a wonderfully roomy 1 bedroom executive suite and felt like we were spoilt. The manager was attentive to us and Linc went above and beyond for my family. If we had an issue he set us up with something better. He is a very effective member of staff who knows what it means for a family to travel interstate. He and his staff made our stay sooo enjoyable and we felt at ease. The beds are super comfy. Pillows, bedding and spa was fantastic. Pool and gym were a hit and we loved having the bistro downstairs. Can't thank the team enough and we look forward to staying again.

First and foremost, the greeting we received by Linc before we had even entered the front door was sensational. My wife felt so special and I was extremely impressed with our warm welcoming from Linc. He was happy that we were staying at Stamford Plaza in Adelaide. First impressions really count and to have a staff member at the front of the hotel that is happy to see you arrive is fantastic. Linc was extremely knowledgeable about all the facilities… car parking, gym, pool, on-site restaurants, local wines, best times to head down for breakfast, nearby attractions. Linc had loaded all of our luggage neatly and gently on the trolley and even opened the lift for us once we had checked in. There was nothing more he could have done for us! Definitely recommend the Stamford Plaza, Adelaide and we will definitely be back again!! Haven’t been here more than an hour so far, I can’t really comment much further yet, though the rooms extremely spacious. The layout is very well designed and classy. Super comfortable bedding, cosy pillows and extremely classy.

Great place. Great location. Beautifully appointed rooms and so convenient with the (free) inner circle tram and central train station at your door step. Most comfortable bed. We were impressed with the quiet air con and the fact you could open the window for fresh air. Beautiful cafe with buffet breakfast at $35 per head. Welcoming staff...well priced. Simply cannot fault this hotel. Highly recommend.
